The agreement between you and us when you buy something from Gen-K Shop. Short, and meant to be read.

Adding items to your basket is not an order. Your order is placed when you complete payment, and it is accepted when we email you a confirmation. If we cannot fulfil it — the item is out of stock, the price was wrong, or we cannot ship to your address — we will tell you and refund you in full. We may cancel an order where we reasonably suspect fraud.
Prices are in US dollars. Payment is handled entirely by Square; we never see or store your card details. Any sales tax that applies is calculated and shown at Square's checkout before you pay, so the total on the payment page is the total you are charged. If a price is listed with an obvious error, we will contact you before charging you rather than quietly cancelling.
We ship within the United States. We aim to dispatch within 2 business days and delivery usually takes 2–4 days after that, but these are estimates rather than guarantees — once a parcel is with the carrier, its timing is out of our hands. Risk passes to you on delivery. If a parcel is lost or arrives damaged, tell us and we will sort it out.
You have 30 days and we pay return shipping. Custom items and digital downloads are excluded. The full detail is on our Returns & Refunds page, which forms part of these terms.
We will send you a proof to approve before we produce anything custom. Once you approve it, that is what gets made, and it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Please check spelling and dates carefully — we produce exactly what is on the approved proof. You confirm you have the right to use any image or text you send us, and we may decline to print anything unlawful, hateful, or infringing someone else's rights.
When you buy a digital product you get a personal, non-transferable licence to use it for yourself or inside your own business. You may not resell it, republish it, or distribute it as your own. Download links are emailed to you and stay valid for 7 days; if yours expire before you have saved the files, email us and we will send fresh ones.
Party planning, event organising and photography are quoted individually. The scope, price and date we agree in writing is what applies. Cancellation terms are on the Returns & Refunds page. For photography, we retain copyright in the images and grant you a licence to use them personally; we will not use your photographs for our own promotion without asking you first.
Reviews are moderated before publication. We may decline to publish a review that is abusive, off-topic, or not about a product we sell — but we do not remove reviews merely for being negative, and we do not write or commission fake ones. By submitting a review you allow us to display it on this site alongside your first name.
Accounts are optional and exist so you can see your own orders and re-download your purchases. Sign-in is handled by Microsoft. Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. We may suspend an account that is being used abusively.
Please do not attempt to break into, overload, scrape, or interfere with this site, or use it to do anything unlawful. We reserve the right to refuse service where that happens.
We stand behind what we sell. If we get something wrong, we will repair it, replace it, or refund it. Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, our total liability for any order is limited to what you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited — and your statutory consumer rights are unaffected by anything in these terms.
We may update these terms. The version in force for your order is the one published when you placed it, so a later change cannot be applied backwards to a purchase you have already made.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, and any dispute will be handled by the courts there. Before it gets that far, please email us — almost everything is fixable with a conversation.
